Essential characteristics of small and medium enterprises, including flexibility in face with market changes, rapid attainment of the activities, initiatives and high motivation of staffs and limited initial capital requirements, have caused growth, innovation and economic dynamism in transition economies of the firms. This study aimed to identify small and medium sized manufacturing firms with rapid growth, and determine their contribution to the Malaysian economy. Malaysia's Vision 2020 has planned development policies through enterprise and small business enhancement. These companies play a significant role in the economic breakthrough of Malaysia. These companies have allocated 93.8% of the operating companies in the industrial sector, 27.3% of total manufacturing production, 25.8% of value-added in production, 27.6% of the fixed assets and 38.9% of the employees of the country. Evidences suggest that these companies have major contribution in national economic development in Malaysia. در بيشتر كشورهاي توسعه يافته جهان، اتخاذ سياست‌هاي مربوط به حمايت از بنگاه‌هاي اقتصادي كوچك و متوسط به منظور افزايش رشد، ايجاد درآمد و اشتغال و حتي كاهش فقر از مهمترين اولويت‌هاي اقتصادي- اجتماعي دولت‌ها محسوب مي‌شود. ويژگي‌هاي حياتي بنگاه‌هاي كوچك و متوسط، از جمله انعطاف‌پذيري در مقابل تغييرات بازار و محيط، به نتيجه رسيدن سريع فعاليت‌ها و ابتكار عمل افراد در اين بنگاه‌ها، برخورداري كاركنان اين شركت‌ها از انگيزه بالا، سرمايه اوليه محدود مورد نياز اين بنگاه‌ها، محرك اصلي تحقق كارآفريني و غيره آنها را به مهمترين عامل رشد، نوآوري و تحرك اقتصادي و توسعه كشورها، به ويژه كشورهاي در حال توسعه و ياري دهنده آنها در مرحله گذار اقتصادي تبديل كرده است. هدف این پژوهش شناسایی بنگاه‌های کوچک و متوسط صنایع تولیدی با رشد سریع و نیز تعیین سهم آنها در اقتصاد مالزی است. چشم‌انداز توسعه 2020 مالزی سیاست‌های توسعه را از طریق شرکت‌های کسب و کار کوچک برنامه‌ریزی کرده است. این شرکت‌ها نقش مهمی را در توسعه اقتصادی مالزی ایفا مي‌کنند. این شرکت‌ها 8/93 درصد از شرکت‌های فعال در بخش صنعت،3/27درصد از کل تولیدات کارخانجات، 8/25درصد از ارزش افزوده تولید،6/27 درصد از دارایی‌های ثابت و9/38درصد از استخدام نیروی کار این کشور را به خود اختصاص داده‌اند. همچنین شواهد نشان مي‌دهد که این شرکت‌ها نقش مهمی را در توسعه اقتصاد ملی کشور مالزی بر عهده دارند. http://roshdefanavari.ir/fa/Article/Download/20028
