Knowledge Translation (KT) is the meeting ground between two fundamentally different processes: research and action. It knits them with communicative relationships. Knowledge translation is a dynamic and interactive process that includes synthesis, dissemination, exchange and ethically sound application of knowledge to provide more effective services and products and strengthen system. This is done through a complex system of researchers and knowledge users. Knowledge translation is catalyst for knowledge cycle in knowledge to action process. Utilization of observation and decision-making appropriate with field conditions that is proposed with knowledge translation is very useful in industrial researches. This research proposes a model for knowledge translation from research to industry (case study: A Defense Industry Research Center). By extending the concept of knowledge translation several models and structures are proposed that each one has a strategy to overcome the gap between what we know and what actually happens in practice. In this research we studied some of them and try to find an appropriate model. The proposed model has seven processes: research needs assessment, input to research, research processes, primary outputs from research, making a sample for taking customers endorsement, using product and final outcome. For data collection, interviews and questionnaires were used. The population is consisting of experts, managers and Defensive Research Centers researchers who are familiar with knowledge translation issues. Manuscript profile

University and Industry are the most important and influent institutions in social, political and cultural development and society’s economic and technological improvements. The improvement in the relationship between science and technology, the integration of science and industry, the appearance of industries based on science, the use of science as a means to generate competitive advantages on the part of the firms, as well as the globalization of the economy and internationalization of technology, are some of the reasons which justify cooperative relationships between firms and research organizations. Developing relations between Industry and University by cause and positive effect on technological, economic and social changes and transformations was noticed by strategists, politicians and university and industry planners, and was more effort toward creating an effective linkage between university and industry. The 21st century is the century of knowledge-based international economic competition. Industry without online knowledge will surely die and knowledge without applying in industrial operation is not valueless, necessitating the connection between Industry and University. The present paper aims to review the existed theories and models of relationship between Industry, University and other influential institutions in knowledge-based economy. In this study, we reviewed “Triple Helix models TH1, TH2, TH3” (Etzkowitz and Leydesdorff), Quadruple Helix (Carayannis and Campbell), “Quintuple Helix” (Carayannis and Campbell), and represented and reviewed the “Islamic Republic of Iran’s’ Regional Quintuple Helix” (Samadi Miarkolaei), and “N-Tuple of Helices” between Industry and University (Leydesdorff), followed by presenting some suggestions to improve relations between Industry and University. Knowledge-based economy is modern economy that production and distribution is based on knowledge and knowledge itself is the main source of growth and wealth creation. Knowledge-based companies are generators of knowledge-based economy. Knowledge-based companies & institutions are private or cooperative companies that cause synergy of science and wealth, development of knowledge-based economy, achievement of scientific and economic goals (including development and application of invention and innovation) and commercialization of research and development (including design and production of goods and services) in the high technology and high value-added production, particularly in the form of software. Knowledge-based companies can be divided into two categories: micro and macro. K-based companies have made some important features such as job creation, positive competitiveness, generation and development. Those companies are commensurate with their growing economies. Organizational structures of companies in many different companies and organizations are playing an efficient role. The types of organizations and companies determine organizational structure. In this study we reviewe organizational structures, including functional, productional, regional, Matrix, connectional, horizontal, network, associational, star, clover and Virtual. We propose a suitable pattern “network-Virtual-horizontal” for organizational structure of K-based companies. This organizational structure increases productivity in knowledge-based companies. The cost of research and development and technology improvement result in cost decrease, productivity improvement and export growth. New Technologies cause enhancement in production factors and create further variations in productions. Furthermore, technologies create changes in comparative cost of production, and increase the comparative advantages in corporations and ultimately in the countries. Research, development and innovation costs, and new technologies allow corporations to improve their production abilities; thus resulting in capacity growth, cost reduction, quality improvement, and timely delivery. Unique characteristics of Innovation and new ideas are not challengeable. For example, achievements in a new method, will give others easier access, without causing interruptions to the previous users. Therefore, such products are produced once and can be mass-produced then after. In this article, the importance of research and development in the growth of value added through an endogenous growth is explained. While revising Romer's endogenous model of growth, a mathematic model for Iran's economic growth was made and the effects of R&D, spillovers resulted from R&D, labor force, physical capital and human resource based on OLS was evaluated. While considering the effects of innovation management in R&D improvement, other effects of innovation management were also analyzed. This article intends to analyze the effects of R&D throughout the country and innovation management within corporations to obtain economic growth Manuscript profile

Supply chain network design includes key decisions that have a major impact on the supply chain operational structure. Efficient supply chain design improves performance in organizations. This has led to the emergence of new concepts in the supply chain issue in the past decade. In this study, the supply chain network design problem in agile organizations has been taken into account with multi-level and multi-period. This problem is considered under conditions of having multiple customers with a high demand volume. The decisions include the selection of companies at each level, the amount of production, storage and transportation of each company. The problem has been modeled to integrate all decision variables with the goal of minimizing overall operating costs across the entire supply chain and Satisfaction of customers' complete demand and Satisfaction with them. Since multi-period multi-level supply chain design problem solving is one of the NP-Hard issues in uncertainty conditions, it is better to use innovative and meta-algorithms to reduce problem solving time. For this reason, the algorithm for banning search algorithms, which is one of the meta-algorithms, has been used to solve the model. The results of this research show that as the number of problem-solving repetitions increases, answers with less than 3% of the difference between the optimal answer are achieved. The search algorithm is forbidden to get the optimal response compared to the Lagrange algorithm. Manuscript profile

The main aim of this paper is to identify the knowledge elements that play a crucial role in the internationalization process of companies. Reviewing research literature shows, Companies that use the two-dimensional model for business knowledge divide knowledge into two dimensions: explicit or tacit nature, and the nature of the codified or uncodified. This model states that the tacit knowledge is difficult to transfer to others, while the explicit and uncodified knowledge component is the simplest form of knowledge for transferring to others. The statistical population of the study consist of managers and experts of the foreign trade sector (export and import) of companies that were present in international markets. For this purpose, 104 companies were selected from among five different types of business in East Azerbaijan province, and for data gathering, questionnaire was applied. Findings show that all variables of individual competency of employees, organizational beliefs and habits, and corporate procedures are related to the degree of internationalization. However, the strongest link between internationalization and various elements of business knowledge was identified in the field of organizational beliefs and habits, and individual competence of employees. Cloud computing is a concept introducing in the world of information technology recently, and provides an environment for sharing sources. In this environment, an efficient and effective scheduling system plays a fundamental role. Hence, the problem of scheduling tasks in cloud computing is a very important issue, which tries to identify an optimal scheduling for performing tasks and allocating an optimal source. The purpose of this research is to provide a new hybrid model for optimization of scheduling tasks based on combination of dynamic adaptive and genetic algorithms in a cloud computing environment. The hybrid model aimed to cover the defects of these algorithms. Based on this model, an initial solution was presented for resolving the weakness of the genetic algorithm, the action of low speed as well as the weakness of the dynamic adaptive algorithm, trapping in local answers. In the proposed model, first, dynamic adaptive algorithm could find an appropriate solution for scheduling problem within a good time using the technique of searching required resources by KD tree and data retrieval in parallel. This solution, as an initial answer, was given to the genetic algorithm, and this algorithm performed the optimal research. As a consequence, the final algorithm, a combination of these two algorithms, provides a better load balancing for cloud resources in a relatively acceptable time. Manuscript profile

Today, as global competition in the business world grows, companies need to have a close relationship with their suppliers in order to survive and achieve reasonable profits. Researchers have recently examined some models for supplier selection, with less attention to the determination of collaboration pattern with selected partners. Despite much research on the types of collaboration models, their features, requirements and achievements, providing a comprehensive and uppropriate model for selecting the most appropriate type of relationship between the two partner organizations has not been sufficiently considered. Generally, supplier-buyer collaboration patterns include outsourcing, strategic alliance, joint investment and ownership. The purpose of this research is to design a model that determines the appropriate collaboration model according to the product characteristics, business conditions and goals of the organization. The model uses profit, opportunity, cost and risk structure, which is a comprehensive and useful model for strategic decisions. In this research, the choice of collaboration model between two partner organizations is investigated in order to design radar components. By library study and interviewing with the experts of the Iranian Defense Industry Organization, the factors influencing the selection of the appropriate cooperation model for the relationship between the two partner organizations were identified and prioritized. A Hierarchical Analysis Process Model (AHP) is designed to prioritize the relevant criteria and sub-criteria. Pairwise comparisons were made according to the experts' opinion and the results were analyzed using SuperDisign software. Manuscript profile
